Rudy specializes in colt starting, ranch roping, western dressage, working equitation, and doma vaquera. His training philosophy is rooted in natural horsemanship, with a primary focus on developing a strong foundation of softness through relaxation. Some achievements he has had in his career include being a 4-time colt starting Champion in Santa Fe, Denver, Abilene, and Pomona. He is the 2019 USA Colt Starting Champion and has placed in the Top 5 out of 150 teams in ranch roping in Santa Ynez, California. In 2016, he had the honor of teaching internationally at the International Horseman Expo Global Equus in Brazil.
His program is dedicated to building confident, honest horses that remain useful and mentally sound, whether they are destined for the ranch, the arena, or trail riding.
